Liability Waiver

1. Nature of Activity

Within Wild ("the Company") operates a floating wood-fired sauna and cold plunge experience at Britannia Beach, British Columbia, Canada. The activity involves exposure to extreme heat in the sauna (up to 95°C / 203°F), cold water immersion in Howe Sound (4°C–14°C depending on season), and movement on and around a floating waterfront structure.

The Participant acknowledges that sauna and cold plunge activities carry inherent risks including but not limited to: dehydration, dizziness, heat stroke, cardiovascular stress, cold water shock, slip and fall injuries, and drowning.

2. Health Acknowledgement

By signing this waiver, the Participant confirms that they:

• Are 19 years of age or older (or accompanied by a legal guardian)
• Are in good physical health and are not aware of any medical conditions that would make this activity unsafe
• Have not consumed alcohol or controlled substances within 6 hours prior to the session
• Understand that individuals with cardiovascular conditions, high blood pressure, pregnancy, epilepsy, or other serious health conditions should consult a physician before participating
• Will immediately inform Within Wild staff of any health concerns upon arrival

3. Assumption of Risk

The Participant voluntarily assumes all risks — known and unknown — associated with participation in sauna and cold plunge activities, including those arising from the negligence of Within Wild, its employees, agents, or contractors. The Participant acknowledges they have been informed of the risks and voluntarily choose to participate.

4. Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to use Within Wild's facilities, the Participant, on behalf of themselves and their personal representatives, heirs, assigns, and next of kin, releases, waives, and discharges Within Wild, its owners, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and successors from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising from participation in the activity, including claims arising from negligence.

5. Rules of Conduct

The Participant agrees to:

• Follow all instructions given by Within Wild staff at all times
• Not exceed personal limits — exit the sauna or water at any time without hesitation
• Stay hydrated before and during the session
• Refrain from bringing glass containers on the dock
• Not participate under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Report any safety concerns to staff immediately
• Respect other guests and the natural environment

6. Emergency Contact & Medical Treatment

In the event of an emergency, the Participant authorizes Within Wild staff to seek medical treatment on their behalf if the Participant is incapacitated. The Participant accepts all costs associated with emergency medical care.

7. Photography & Media

Within Wild may photograph or film sessions for marketing purposes. By signing this waiver, the Participant grants Within Wild a non-exclusive right to use images or video in which they may appear, unless they explicitly opt out at the time of the session by notifying staff on arrival.

8. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
